David Rosenfelt

David Rosenfelt writes:

I wrote screenplays and TV movies for about five years, then decided to write a novel on a whim. I wrote Open and Shut in about six weeks. My film agent sent it to a book agent...the book agent sent it to a publisher...and they bought it with a sequel.

The entire process, from page one to sale, took about nine weeks. I was ridiculously lucky.

David Rosenfelt was the former marketing president for Tri-Star Pictures before becoming a writer of novels and screenplays. His fourth novel, Sudden Death, will be released in May.
